I invite you in my GMAT journey.

Today, I took another test of GMAXonline CAT 2. I think there is some difference in eveluation of MGMAT and GMAXonline. Unfortunately, I had to take phone calls two times, but I can't give any excuse regarding that.
I got 640 ( Q48, V32).
I have to reach the 720+ benchmark.

I want to share my one experience with you all- take a paper based test one day before any mock CAT. You will do better. It may be a causal argument, but it works for me.

Another MGMAT CAT#3 today....
Man, the quant surprised me today. Can anybody tell whether MGMAT CAT#3 quant is too tough?
After quant section, I was sure that my score is in a mess. I know that its not at all a good strategy to think like this. I did verbal very well till half way and then lost the concentration. Though I am better able to concentrate, I can't remove unwanted thoughts completely. How come somebody think what your wife will think about today's score? What grocery you have to purchase after completion of the test?

Anyways....
Can somebody share his experience regarding the toughness of MGMAT CAT#3? Are all tests equally tough?

My exam is in exactly one month. Today, I have got Aristotle SC Grail. I hope it will help me as much as powerscore CR bible has done.

Amid the test preparation, MBA completion is also very challenging.

Last but not the least, AWA...hummmmm......I have thought to do AWA practice in office.

Took the Veritas Free CAT today and result was an effect of festive season in India. My lack of practice was reflected in my poor score.
I need to catch up up in quant and RC.
There is some improvement in SC.
Its only 24 days to go.....I want to cross 720+.....I hope I will be able to help myself.....

Took another MGMAT CAT (#4) today....
I attended e-GMAT seminar on GMAT strategy yesterday.
Yesterday, I learnt few things:
1. Decide your goals
2. Find the gap
3. Fill the gap

I wanted to cross the 700+ level. I wanted to get 50 in Quant and 38-39 in verbal. I found that I do silly mistakes in Quant and fail in tough quant problems. I practiced quant with toughest math problems in GMATCLUB. I improved my quant skill, but it spoiled my time management. I was running short of time in last 10 questions. I was making no mistake in the beginning and CAT started giving me tough questions. And, I was not prepared for this at all.
I was disappointed with my change of strategy. I wanted to abort the test. Then, I thought to take the verbal part to see only verbal score ( I mean I wanted to ignore the quant score after the exam).

But after the exam, I got a score of 690.

Now, I want to know to that how to maintain the time while making no mistake in quant.

Can anybody please give tips on how to avoid silly mistakes in Quant???

Another GMAT today, but its discouraging.....

Hey man dont get discouraged. We all have bad days and in the end its not the people who score the highest. In the end what matters is if you can recover from events. Post on the Forums your strategy so we can comment on it and maybe give you some tips to see what is happenign with u!!

Thanks for your kind words.
Since two days, I am having back pain. I think that this was the reason why I could not concentrate well in the exam. Yesterday, I was little bit worried that if the back pain persists, how will I prepare and take the exam.
But today, I am mentally prepared about this.
