Part-Time Jobs/Internships [#permalink]

How much information is required in applications regarding part-time jobs and internships held during college and even before college? Do you need to put contact #s, supervisor names, etc. for all of them?

yes, you will need contact numbers. i remember wharton's applyyourself page asking for company size, revenue, contact number, although it was just a general company number. i dont remember putting supervisor info in. for mit sloan you have to list contact info for your extracurricular activities.

so for things like company size, revenue, etc - are they looking for the current data? or the numbers from when I worked there? (Yes I'm pretty sure it's the current information but I'm being paranoid and double-checking) thanks! ac.

What does everyone think about pre-undergrad jobs for the application or resume? I had one job for 2 years that was business oriented (sales) and not just a cashier or waiter like a lot of high school students.

ac - company info as current as you can get. No one is going to fault you for using FY07 info if you submitted it before the Annual reports come out. cpg - I probably wouldn't use high school exp unless you are only 2 years out of college. And even then, using internships is not the most recommended, unless you had a lot of good experience like starting a company or leadership at a company.
