I prefer to apply to MBA school for this fall. My ultimate goal is to end up in corporate strategy/ consulting.
Languages: English
Undergrad: B.S in Electronics Engineering Cumulative GPA: 3.5/4.0
Masters: MS in Electrical Engineering Cumulative GPA: 3.51/4.0
GMAT 1: 580,(Q 46, V 25) AWA 5.5 GMAT 2: 710, Q51, V34, AWA pending
Work Experience: Summer 2005 - Present: Lead product development engineer at Automotive company.
Target Schools: Evening Mba or weekend program
The schools I am interested are
[*] Michigan (Ross) [*] Chicago (booth) [*] North Western (kellogg)
Now just wondering what my chances are and what I can do to get a good application in. Any advice guys..
I am trying to get in touch with weekend MBA students at Booth or Kellogg..

You should have a good shot at these part time programs. The part time program stats are not counted when the rankings boards figure up their rank, so they can sometimes be more forgiving of GMAT score and GPA. Your scores and GPA are fine, but might be more of a challenge if applying to these schools' full time programs. if you get good recomendations, write compelling essays, and have a clear vision for why you need the MBA now and what you will do with it after school, you will have a shot. Good Luck.

first off congrats. I am interested on booth/kellog weekend program as well and will be applying for fall 2012. i was wondering if you could shed some light on the application process, particularly the interview and essays. what would consider was your strongest part of your application package? what did the interview cover?
