Part time MBA in the Houston area [#permalink] New post 30 Sep 2011, 08:13
So I'm looking towards a part time MBA program in Houston. I'm currently in the chemical industry(ChE, 3 years experience), and I think I'd like to eventually make my way into a strategy role at a company, probably in chemicals, oil, energy, etc (a similar industry). I've mostly been looking into the UH part time program, the program at UH Clear Lake, and UT's Houston program. Does anyone here have experience with these programs? I'm probably leaning more toward UT's program, but I'm keeping an open mind.

Also, I took the GRE fresh out of college and did fairly well. I've noticed that quite a few programs will accept the GRE instead of GMAT scores. Have any of you gone this route and been successful? Is there some drawback to using a GRE score, assuming the institution allows it?

Thanks in advance for your input, guys!
