Part Time MBA - Need your opinion [#permalink] New post 09 Jan 2006, 15:05
Linda,

I am interested in the part time MBA programs at - Kellogg, Chicago and Stern. I was wondering if you take a look at my profile and tell me if I stand a chance. Actually I have a job offer from a top strategic consulting firm that I might take if I have no chance to get into one of these 3 schools. If I stand a slight chance I surely want to go for the part time MBA.

GMAT Score: 650 (84%), Q 46 (80%), V 34 (72%)
Work Experience: 5 years in consulting managing medium to large scale projects
Education background: BS in Mechanical Engineering (India), MS in Industrial Engineering (Virginia Tech)
Age: 28
Others: Born, raised in India. Have some work experience in India.

Let me know if you need more information. I am more concerned about my GMAT score. I know the GMAT score cannot get you an admission. But a low one can prevent one. So at this point I am just worried if I will be considered. Once I cross the GMAT stigma, I am confident I can do will in interviews, essays, RLs, et.

Thanks for your time

You are an unlikley admit at Kellogg, but you do have a chance at the other two.

Good luck!
