10 minutes to get thru everything, got all correct except the 1st question...

souvik101990 - I see you mentioned RC is not adaptive. Could you please explain? Does that mean I can get random level questions on the passages during the test?

Thank u!

souvik101990 - I am curious about this as well. I am many months into my studying and this is the first I have heard of it. Are the passages not adaptive, the questions not adaptive, or both not adaptive?

IE if you are doing well will you get a harder passage but a set list of corresponding questions for that passage? Or is the passage pre-determined and the questions adapt to your CAT level?

Any additional insight would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

In Passage 2, Question 2, "Which of the following can be inferred about U.S. employers of Mexican immigrants?" Here why is B incorrect? As per the passage: "These workers, many of whom leave economically depressed villages in the Mexican interior, are often more than willing to work for wages well below both the U.S. minimum wage and the poverty line."

Here it is said that workers are "more than willing", it doesn't mean that employers will employ them below US minimum wage and will break the law. Maybe, just because of the fear of breaking the law, employers will keep these workers at minimum wage.

Not a 700level passage. Except Q1 everything else was doable. Answer stats also state the same thing. Every correct option has more than 80% marking for correct answers

Hello kdk21

The difficulty level is partially a subjective debate, A question hard for a person could be a medium or low-medium for another. In my opinion, following should be the difficulty of each question.

Question #1: 700
Question #2: 700
Question #3: 450-500
Question #4: 600
Question #5: 450-500
Question #6: 550

Weighted average difficulty of the passage as a whole should be 650

PS: Edited the tag.

Thank you!

Hi Sajjad,

I take your viewpoint completely and all the questions were rated in a similar manner by me as you did.

I posted my comments so that in future, students, like myself, can evaluate themselves correctly when they see this passage. And in future cases, I will keep on doing so.

Thanks,
Kdk
