26 year old white male from Texas
760 GMAT 48Q, 47V, 5.5AWA 3.9 GPA with Finance and Economics degree with 15 hrs of accounting from Baylor University
4 yrs of work experience as an analyst, operations manager, and loan officer for a real estate lender (primarily large CMBS and life company apartments, hotels, and retail) in Dallas. I had additional analyst experience at a bank in college. I supervised 8 analysts before being promoted to loan officer.
Mentored 3 undergrad business students, involved at church, and some other minor volunteer work.
Want to come back to Dallas and put together a group to buy a bank after I graduate.
Here are my picks: Wharton, Chicago, Sloan, Notre Dame, McCombs

Thank you for the advice, I had actually already started on the Duke application but changed directions. It can't hurt to pick that one back up. I like that part of the country, which doesn't hurt when you consider that I will be spending the next 2 years there. I've started doing a little research on Darden as well.

Darden is a wonderful program. Great facilities, a high level of interaction with the faculty, and a solid alumni network. It's rankings don't do it justice. Best of luck. I'm sure you'll grab a few admits and do well.
