Original mean = -2.5
From S1: median remains same so we can have {-10, 0, 6} or {-8, 0, 6} or {-10, 0, 7} or {-8, 0, 7}. So we have 4 different means for same median. So not sufficient.
From S2: There is a change in range hence at least one of the two numbers have to be from the end. out of all the possible combinations {-8, 0, 6} seems to be the only set meeting the criteria of S2. Sufficient.

{0, 6, 7},{-8, 6, 7},{-8, 0, 7},{-10, -8, 0,},{-10, -8, 6},{-10, 0, 6},{-8, 0, 6}

B.

stmt 1 could mean {-8,0,6} or {-10,0,7}. insuff

stmt 2 there is only one option where the range changes by 3 and that is when you drop -10 and 7.

B should be the answer
