I go with C.
THE PARALLESIM OF NON-UNDERLINED PART GOES WELL WITH the starting of ''do peopl ...,
that eliminates chioces A B n c.
between D n E , d is not paralle,''producing''
E suits the best! comments ?
have fun

Stolyar, could u expalin?
Initially I chose B, but now I see that E is better indeed. But I just feel it, can not explain why, it just sounds "more correct" to me. Though what is te rule here?

My reasoning:
The presence of ONLY requires subject-verb inversion. Therefore, A and B are out. We stay with C, D, and E.
C offers a passive and splitted construction. Out.
IMO: It is more idiomatic to say AN ABILITY TO DO than to say AN ABILITY FOR DOING.
So, I go with E.

Thanx, Stolyar,
I am clear now.
As for "ability for" - obviously, it's incorrect.

Ah I guessed B before looking at people's responses. I made a mistake of considering the "do" and just skimming through rest of the choices once I found the right "sounding" choice. So close was I !!
