Hi Everyone,

Here i am attaching a document for all those guys who find permutations and combinations to be confusing... For all those who are unable to identify whether the question is to be solved by permutation ie arrangement or combinations ie selection.

This document explains all these concepts in a simplified manner..

I found this document while surfing web.....The credit entirely goes to the guy who has created this document..

And Please Do not forget to give KUDOS if you like this document

Hello from the GMAT Club BumpBot!

Thanks to another GMAT Club member, I have just discovered this valuable topic, yet it had no discussion for over a year. I am now bumping it up - doing my job. I think you may find it valuable (esp those replies with Kudos).

Want to see all other topics I dig out? Follow me (click follow button on profile). You will receive a summary of all topics I bump in your profile area as well as via email.

Dear All,

I have always had problems with combinatorics, probability. How can I cope with these? What literature would you advise to read to eradicate this problem of mine?

thanks Bunuel,

These are quite hard for me to grasp the gist of these topics.. So looking for some other sources that may facilitate in coping with with these topics..

The above links have all the theories related to permutations/combinations and probability.

I think you are giving up without giving it a proper shot. Maths does not come without practicing. Go over the theory first and then go for sub 600 questions in these topics. Once you understand those, move onto 600-700 and 700+ level questions. Use the GMATCLUB 'tag' feature for this (viewforumtags.php)

Thanks Engr2012,

These seem valuable sources. Mm, sure, I intend to get the sense of these topics rather than learning related rules "by default". That's why i applied for your assistance
