1. PETER SCORED A 73 ON THIS EXAM
2. MARRY SCORED A 78 ON HER EXAM

1) {73, 80, 81} and {73, 79, 82} both have a mean 78 but different median.

2) Marry's score equals to mean. So, to get 78 as a mean, scores of Peter and Paul must be equal to 78 or one be higher and other be lower. In both cases, 78 is a median. So, sufficient.
