PhD. in Finance [#permalink] New post 25 Dec 2005, 09:05
Hi all,

Am Santosh from Nepal, 27. Recently completed MSc. in International Banking and Finance from United Kingdom (Award-Merit). I have already completed MBA-Finance from one of the Universities in my country with First Class Marks. I have been working for a commercial Bank in my country for more than 8 years now. I also have Teaching expereince of two years (Financial Management to Bachelor's (undergraduate) level students) as a part time lecturer. I have got more than 35 publications in the national dailies of Nepal. I appeared for the GMAT three years back and scored 600 (AWA-5.0). I know this score is well below what has been observed in the club. However, I would like to know my chances of getting into a PhD. in Finance in some reasonable US univ. I would gretly appreciate any suggestion from you all, please let me know if there are any universities in US you think would grant me admissions possiblly with funding...looking forward...cheers!
