Please advice ASAP (Application should be send this weak) [#permalink] New post 16 Jan 2006, 06:51
Three questions:

First, my main targets are schools with GMAT averages of 610,620, 660, (Schools in Canada) and I am looking for the finical aid
so should I write a letter explaining or hinting my need for financial aid ??

Second: what do u think of this application:

GMAT: 660 (I know that I should have gotten 700 easily but very bad exam day experience that’s life)

Master of Science (Middle class USA university ) GPA : 3.94
Postgraduate Diploma GPA 3.75
Undergraduate GPA:2.4 (here is my weakness)

Work Experience : 6 years –2 years Engineer --- Egypt
2 years Business analyst --- Egypt
1 year networking ---- USA
1 year – my own business ---- USA

Internships: Germany - France

Personal experience: quite OK. Considering a lot of hard times I have been through and I can explain getting over barriers.

Please Advice, the application deadline is Feb is the first, and I am almost done with the applications.

Hi Edreamer,
MY humble 0.02 cts advice would be for you to just apply. Make sure your essay is well written. You score is pretty decent. Are the B schools you are applying in Canada in the top 50 in the world?
later,
MAH

Unfortunately, I don't advise on financial aid so I can't assess your chances of obtaining financial aid at your target schools. You need to check and ask what you need to do to apply for financial aid. Most web sites will tell you.

Good luck!

thanks, but what do u think of my profile and chances? [#permalink] New post 26 Jan 2006, 06:42
Thanks all. Well, I started to get the picture now.

I was trying to limit my MBA choices, and I found out about the Thunderbird International MBA program. I really do like it especially that international business and International management are my major target concentration. Also, I like the ESADE Business School in Spain, So Any ideas about my chances in those two schools.

How do u see my profile overall quality?

Thanks for your help
