Dear Stacy,
I am a 24 (25 at matriculation) years old Male from Lebanon (Middle-East)
I graduated from the American University of Beirut (one of the best universities in the MENA region) with a Bachelor of Economics (79/100 GPA - around 3/4)
While at college I was elected president of the student body council and vice-president of the university student faculty committee (headed by the president of the university)
Upon graduation I moved to the United Arab Emirates and have been working with the Crown Prince Court (quite similar to a Prime Minister’s Office) for the past 3 years
Within the Crown Prince Court I work at the Office of Strategic Affairs which has a mandate similar to a think tank/ management consulting firm
I received an early promotion after 1 year and 3 months with OSA (a never before accomplished feet within the Court)
My GMAT is 710 (92 percentile) with 48 quantitative (around 80 percentile), 40 verbal (around 90 percentile)
Most of my managers are ex Booz Allen employees and have received their MBAs from prominent schools (Wharton, INSEAD, Harvard)
My direct supervisor is a Wharton alumni and a substantial donor
Our office has concluded various executive education deals with INSEAD, Wharton, and Harvard
I plan to apply to HBS, Wharton, INSEAD, Booth, and Columbia
I know that my GPA and GMAT scores are not very competitive but I am hoping that my work experience, extracurricular activities, recommendations, and essays will be enough to cover the gap
Please let me know what you think
Thank you
