Hi Linda
Could you please comment on my Profile?
GMAT:
690 (Q: 48 (86%), V-36(81%)) Dec 2005,
620(49,25) Nov 2005,
650(51,26) Apr 2005,
580(49,18) July 2004

Under graduation: BS. -76% From a Top 20 Indian Institute
Work Experience: 5+ years Indian IT (26)
International Experience: US, UK
Lead a team of 5 in previous project. Currently, I am Technical Architect
Some Extra-curricular. I have also participated in couple of volunteer activities in India in last 2-3 years.
Goal: Change my career to Finance.
1. Should I consider applying in any Top 20 school with these many GMAT attempts.
2. Do I stand any chance in these schools (Ross, Kelley, McCombs, Olin, Owen, INSEAD)?
3. Should I consider any other schools?

Thanks a lot

I don't know if I have enough info to really evaluate your profile, but your GMAT score is good enough to get in anywhere. (Congrats on improving your score so much!)

My main concern would be in terms of your abilitu ti differentiate yourself from the many other Indian / IT applicants out there. Your work (esp. leadership) experience and your extra-curricular activities will be key here, much more so than any GMAT score or GPA.

That's probabl ya decent mix of schools to consider. Also think about Rochester and Stern if you want finance.
