Hello, I just took the GMAT yesterday and given my good score and the current situation of my job (I could be laid off if I dont accept to relocate) I would like to rush and apply to a top MBA. Can you help me evaluating my profile and indicating my chances of being accepted and receiving a scholarship.
This is my profile:
1) Brief description of your full-time work experience. What do you do?
Right after college I worked for 7 months in a family company. Then 6 months part time for a non for profit. Then I went to NYC to pursue an MA in Statistcs. After I came back to Colombia I worked for a bank for 15 months as a credit risk modeler (1 promotion). Ive been working for six months as a Consultant for a credit risk bureau (a sort of local FICO)
2) GMAT: 760 (V42 Q50)
3) Undergrad: Management Engineering (2008) from National University of Colombia, Colombia's major university and one of the top in Latin America. GPA 4/5
Graduate: MA Statistics from one university in the CUNY system. GPA 3.9/4, honors.
4) Nothing apart from that semester in the non for profit.
6) Target: The most important aspect is the availiability of loans for international students without co-signer. Given this I would be hapy to get accepted in Chicago or Yale. Could you give me your opinion about my chances to get into Stanford or Wharton?
7)I plan to apply this fall.
Thanks.
Camilo
