Hi Linda,

I would be thankful to you if you could evaluate my profile and judge my chances at:

Oxford - Said
Cambridge - Judge
London Business School
Queen's - Canada


My profile (in brief):
M,24,Indian

GMAT Score: 670 (50q;30v)

B.E.(Electronics engineering) from one of India's finest colleges. - 2003 passout.

Academics: -Good academic credentials throughout schooling and college.
(74% -Our's was a low scoring university. Rank 5 out of 40 in my degree examination and in top 20% throughout college)
-Recipient of merit certificate and scholarship at senior secondary school level for academic excellence.

Extra-curricular activities:
-Actively involved throughout schooling and college.
-Part of corporate social activities at organizational level and a bit during college.No individual involvement outside this :|

Work Experience:-Currently working for a reputed US based IT consultancy firm from it's India office.(Total experience till date: More than 2 years.)
-Would be having more than 3 years of IT consulting experience by the time I start my MBA in 2006.
-Good career progression - Promoted recently
-Worked for major clients in investment, travel and telecom sectors (ex:Vodafone,UK )across the geographies.


Others:
-Interests - Reading, Writing and Music.(Play Synthesizer/Key board)
-International exposure - NIL till date
-I did my education in 4 different states in India - I am not sure if this can be used as cultural diversity in my application.
-Languages known - 3

Post MBA plans:
Immmediate - Consulting.
Long term - Plan to own a media consultancy firm about 5-6 years down the line.

Please let me now in case you need any more details.As you can see I am more interested in a one year MBA.

Would you recommend me to re-take the GMAT?
