I am planning to apply for INSEAD R1 for Jan 2013 intake. Please go through my profile and evaluate my chances
Indian M 27
GMAT 650 (Dec 31 2011), 730(Feb 6 2012)
WE: 4yrs 7 Months
International Work Experience: Nil
Employer: L&T ECC Division (Construction/Ship Building)
Good academics with above 90% in 10th and 12th. 8.1 CGPA in B.Tech
Adjudged Best Outgoing Student in UG course
Decent extracurricular (Organisation of events, Magazine Editor for company
magazine)
Am particularly concerned regarding my lack of International work
experience.
Please suggest some schools where I stand a good chance of getting an admit

INSEAD puts a big premium on international experience - the majority of the class are career expats who have lived and worked extensively in different countries. As such, you're right that no international experience is going to be a big hurdle, and one where I think will make you a big stretch for the school.

Schools that may give you more of a chance are the Asian schools - ISB, NUS, or HKUST.
