Background: Indian male in IT industry.

Work Experience:

8 years of experience (as of September 2012) in different areas of service industry. As a graduate engineer trainee in an international airport construction project, I worked as a technical bid evaluator for Mechanical Equipment such as baggage handling, elevators, escalators etc for first one year of my career.

I later shifted to engineering services with a top IT consulting firm involved in engineering design and evaluation for Auto and Aero industry across the world for next 2 years. I then took up Product Life cycle management and eventually moved into telecom domain looking into Business Process Management, Product Launch Management.

GMAT:

Score about to expire 660.

Will be retaking soon.

Education:

!) B Tech in Mechanical Engineering from JNTU 68%
2) IBE 79.1

Extra curricular:

1) interested in script writing and also written two complete feature length scripts for one of my friends who is going to direct a movie.

2) Involved in various orginzational initiatives around sharing knowledge and connecting.


Target Programs:

ISB or IIM


Short term goal:

1) Business Development or General Management roles in Service Industry where i can leverage my extensive Business Process knowledge in telecom and what I will learn in MBA.


Long Term Goal:

Entrepreneurship

or to lead a company

Well, the first thing I would say, is let's see how you do on your GMAT before we figure out where you are good for.
Secondly, I like this scriptwriting thing, however for it to get you "points" it needs to be more than "I wrote a script for a friend" but if you wrote a script for a REAL big production that had general theatrical release, then WOW! You'll probably be the only candidate this whole year who has done that! And THAT will make a difference!
