Expert's post

Thanks for sharing your profile. Your academic background is pretty strong with the exception of a slightly low GMAT quant score (we usually recommend targeting 80th percentile or above for top programs). I don't think it's that big a deal, but given that your undergrad was IR (not so quantitatively rigorous), it might be worth taking some supplementary accounting/finance/stats courses to show your analytic chops.

As for work experience, I'd say your experience is average. I don't know too much about it, but it doesn't sound like you've had or taken on a lot of leadership responsibility at work; though again, I have very little context! Project management is a good role to be in though, as it inherently requires working with multiple teams/stakeholders, managing people to deadlines, managing upwards, etc. So, perhaps you will have lots of material to draw from.

I see that you have an active community service role, so that is great, but I don't see any other extracurricular activities on your list. This could be viewed as a gap.

All in all, I'd say you are overshooting slightly with your target programs. HBS/GSB are long shots (though I admire your spirit - doesn't hurt to throw in apps, but it just depends on where you want to put your energy!). Kellogg and Columbia are stretches. Haas is a slight reach, while UCLA is a good target. I'd suggest skewing more towards schools like Duke/Darden/NYU/Michigan if they meet your criteria.

Good luck,
