Founder of NYCCOFE (2006), which is a networking group with a purpose for young professional people of color (all are welcome to help us expand our networks) in the NY/NJ area to help them expand their professional networks and open their minds to new opportunities. I found out about the gmatclub through NYCCOFE, and many of my members are currently enrolled at top MBA programs, finished or have been accepted this yr! We come together over dinner or drinks to discuss important issues, share info in our online community about jobs, schools, events, etc. I have also partnered with some of the members to visit schools that I may not have visited alone. It’s been a great experience. Membership varies from 85-130 monthly, and is by referral or proof of credentials only. This keeps members active and avoids spam.
We have an average of 150-300 post a month!
In college I was student gov member for 2 yrs and president for 1 yr.
I love to dance hiphop and salsa
I love outdoor sports and ride a silver ET4 Vespa around Brooklyn !
I would like formal Brand Management education, also interested in having a better understanding of operations. I would like to consider consumer products because fashion limits me to NYC and I would like to explore other cities. I also am interested in developing my own products that I have been working on for sometime. Long term goal is to start my own company servicing small businesses, helping them get from concept to launch, proving research, b2b services such as interior design services, accounting, staffing, etc.
Can you suggest other programs?
