Hello,
I see two tough things about your candidacy: Your age and your Indian/IT background. 30 puts you at the high end of what top full-time MBA programs like to see. It's a myth that you're "too old," but you're getting to that point, so this coming year is probably your last realistic chance for success.
Re: the "Indian/IT" thing, you probably already know that... Yours is unfortunately just a very common profile among applicants, and admissions officers can't accept all of them, so you really need to stand out vs. the competition and demonstrate why YOU are the "Indian/IT" applicant they will take instead of the eight others who look just as good.
Re: your job and your extracurricular involvement, I hope you have enough examples of leadership and impact (leading a team, saving a project from disaster, making a fund-raising event happen, etc.) to point to. It's not enough to say "I'm the team lead"... You need to be able to say "As leader of the team I managed relationships with various departments, balancing multiple business needs, keeping everyone on task, balancing different personality types, and keeping us within budget to hit our goals." That's where the real "meat" of a successful application will be.
My expectation is the schools in the Cornell-Duke-Texas-Indiana range will be your best bet. Higher-ranked schools may be tough, although I don't blame you for trying.
Good luck!
Scott
