Sorry to hear of your less than ideal GMAT score, especially if you'd been scoring better on your practice tests-- usually that indicates that you are capable of scoring higher and just had a bad day... generally I advise a re-take as soon as possible in that situation, fyi. Generally you just have to TAKE the exam by the school's deadline, in case that is still an option? Some R2 deadlines are in Jan so you probably have time? R3 is going to be a challenging admissions round so not ideal... you would be a stretch at the schools you mentioned with that GMAT score currently. Not impossible, with really strong essays and the rest of the application, but challenging. If you were able to bump it up some it'd help greatly. Good luck as you make your decisions!
