I have no internship or ft work experience in any professional setting. I have a 3.8 from a nontarget state school, majored in finance, minor in math I just completed my studies in 2010, december. I have a 770 gmat with a perfect 51 quant, and a 44 verbal I completed the honors program with a thesis in my school
I want to apply to MIT, Oxford, Cambridge(mphil), LSE(msc finance), and Imperial
My goal is to get into IBD. As a side question, are schools like the ones I listed worth it even though I don't have relevant internships? Thank you.
LSE and Imperial are probably good chances. Apply to the other schools, but I think work experience is what is holding you back. MIT can get 750+ GMAT's all day, but there needs to be something else. Still try because this is just my opinion. _________________
