Hello ,
I am interested in doing Ph.d in Strategy /Enterpreneurship in US .


It will be greatif you cna provide me some info about which schools I sould apply to


My backgound
GMAt -730
MBA(3.1 GPA ) + Btech (74%)
4 years of work ex in IT

You should have a better sense of which schools you should apply to. First look at your BROAD research interest. Then visit the schools' website to identify those with faculty who do research in similar areas.

Another way is to read up some recent research publications on your interest - trace the authors from there.

GMAT 730 is around the average for the top 20 to 30 B-schools (based on MBA ranking), so you at least clear that part. (But there are people who say that if you are an international, you need to have 750+ to be competitive.)

Your MBA gpa may be a bit weak though - some schools have higher average grad gpa (3.5?). Do check the schools' website. A useful place to visit for the stats is their FAQ page.

Your work exp may be good for your field of strategy and ent. If you can get strong LOR and write a powerful SOP, I think you have a shot near the top.
