Verbal is conquerable but it can take a bit of time. Along with GMAT work I would focus on improving your general reading. Read an economist
article (or two) every day. Focus on 100% comprehension. Think about the authors point of you, the main point, the facts, the conclusion, the assumptions, and the sentence structures. Look up words that you do not know. Take your time with these articles. This reading will translate to improvement in the entire verbal section
. Again, it will take time but improving the speed and comprehension with which you read is a great way to boost verbal.
