Hi Team,
I plan to write my GMAT in december. Yesterday I appeared in my first diagnostic test. I scored a paltry 600

.
Following is the breakdown of my score.
Quant : 48 Percentile : 80
Verbal : 25 Percentile : 35
Integrated Reasoning : 7 Percentile : Not Available
Also I could not complete my test. Could not answer one quant question, 2 verbal questions and 1 Integrated Reasoning question. One of the topics in the forum is about how heavy the penalty is if you are not able to complete the test.
I would like your help in planning my studies. When should I give my second diagnostic test ? And any more test series that I should join. I have already bought Manhattan's Sentence correction guide. What should I do about the CR and the RC section ?
Also is it possible to hit the 750+ range with this score ?
Regards,
Check out a blog post I wrote a couple of weeks ago. It will answer some of your questions.
http://www.veritasprep.com/blog/2012/08 ... prep-test/If you run out of time, you should guess on the remaining questions. The penalty for un-attempted questions is quite high.
As for CR and RC, you should go through a book for each question type. Get acquainted with strategies, questions types, tip and tricks and pitfalls. For a 750+, you will need to get 50/51 in Quant and at least 40/41 in Verbal.
