Please Help Me Choose [#permalink]

Hello all, and thanks for any input.
I have been accepted by 3 schools that are on my short list; I would eventually like to come back to NY to work after I am done with my MBA in a consulting type role.
Penn State w/ full tuition waiver and a $1,000/month stipend
Notre Dame w/ $5,000 per year total cost of around 90k
Carnegie Mellon w/ $20,000 per year --- total cost of 100k
Thanks for any input.

Right now I'm at a Big 4 and work as an IT Auditor. I would like to transition into a consulting role in this field. If you want to work in NY in consulting (I assume a more prestigious consulting firm), you should go to CMU, even with the $100k debt. The recruiting is much better at CMU. If you are frugal, you can pay off that $100k debt in 2-3 years. Full Time Employment Stats:Smeal - consulting - 8% http://www.smeal.psu.edu/mba/careers.html/stats.htmlTepper - consulting - 19.4% http://www.tepper.cmu.edu/corporations- ... index.aspx

I think it's relevant to tell us what type of work you want to do afterwards. I also hope that however this poll works out, you don't use it to make a decision.

Thanks to everyone who voted. I was leaning towards CMU in the first place, and this sort of reinforces what I was thinking. I still welcome any additional comments though. Thanks!
