Hi,

Please help

Age - 32
GMAT - 690 (I can not retake)
Nationality - India
Undergrads - Bachelors in Management

Work experience - 10 years
Work profile - Regional Manager for a wealth management company, leading a team of managers for last 6 years.so decent leadership experience.

EC - Association with a photography club

Please help me to evaluate my chances at

Tuck ,Darden, Cornell, UCLA, Michigan, Tepper, USC, Kelly ( do you think it makes sense to apply to schools between ranking between 5-10)

For non US - LBS and INSEAD

I am comfortable settling at any region (other than europe considering the current employment scenario)

I am looking for full time option only.

Hello appstar, thanks for your question.

In short, I think your experience in wealth management is an asset. Your age and GMAT (considering your competitive demographic) could be obstacles.

I know Wharton and Booth tend to be more tolerant of more experienced candidates, but that doesn’t mean you have no shot at other programs. There’s no formula.

I think you have a good range of programs in your target list. It’s fine to apply to schools ranked 5-10, but they represent a bigger reach than some of the others you’ve mentioned. I think it’s fine to take those shots, but definitely mitigate your risk and include programs like USC, Kelly, Tepper, and the like.
