1- I select ABC because "blaming" must refer to the "company"
2- Then I select AB because "that + subj." sound better
3- I select A because it is more direct.

Answer A for me.

no doubt, A

B - uses passive voice
C - problem with parallelism: "announced... and it expected..." is not parallel; changes the meaning of the sentence
D,E - the modifying phrase should modify "the company" and not the "company's announcement"

I think "a expected a reported " in B makes it a incorrect answer choice.
