Hello guys,

I would need a piece of advice.

I am a career switcher and want to work in strategic consulting.
Nevertheless, my mid-term goal is to work in politics.
Do you know which school can suit the best to me ?

Thanks a lot in advance

Without knowing anything about your personality, stats or preferences (or even what you want to do in either politics or consulting; do you want to run for office? do you want to work in the staff of a politician on the Hill?), I would say the following:

National politics, IMO, HBS. Local politics, HBS and/or any school with local prestige in the area you want to run for office (unless HBS would damage your credibility with the electorate/politicians in the local area). If you want to gain more knowledge about the public/political sphere, Harvard has several MBA/MPP dual degree programs with their policy school, HKS. Good luck.

Coakleym, thanks a lot for your answer.

Regarding the path I will take in politics, it's not all that clear at the moment. But what I know is that 1) I want to do it nationally, 2) I want to be impactful.

Maybe it will take the form of running for office in France (Sorry, I forgot to mention that I am French).

I will check these dual degree programs in Harvard.
