How many hours per week, on average, do you expect to work during the first few years after graduation?

I will take 60-70 hours any day. May be 70+ but it depends on the + and how it is allocated. 13-14 hours a day for 5 days would be fine.

I think 60-70 for a consultant sounds about right.

I can't tell if you excluded banking from the list cause there is no banking anymore.... You need a 90-100 option for them

Ideally, 50-60 hours a week would be perfect. Realistically, 60-70 is what I expect...

You and me both, billyjeans. The more I research career paths, the more I realize I'm not really cut out for a traditional MBA career. Time will tell. billyjeans wrote: am i the only one voting for the 9-5?

I would *consider* a 50-hour workweek, but only with serious incentives. Otherwise, 9-5 with decent amount of vacation. I'm not going to grad school and paying lots of money so I can go work like a slave.
