I'm only applying to Harvard, Stanford, and Wharton, so interested in how the admissions committees might view this.

I have a 740, 97th percentile V and 80th percentile Q.

I got a 6 on IR though, which is 67th percentile. How much does IR matter? Will this impact my app negatively? Keep in mind this is only for H/S/W. Thanks for any help!!

I think you're fine. You already have a great gmat score. Remember that your undergrad grades & gmat scores are not the only things that mba schools look at when deciding admission. Work experience plays a significant role in whether or no you get accepted. :)

FYI: flash-announcement-gmac-says-ir-is-important-146949.html

I was actually looking for my post from a while ago on IR and can't find it (argh - that's what happens to you when you have 10K of them).
Anyway, it is still not going to be clear for at least 1 more year (until the GPA of the second year graduating class is released) and other info is gathered to create a correlation analysis and provide backup for schools as to how to use the IR. so I don't think it is important at this point in time.... keep in mind that for the next 3+ years, people can still submit their pre-June 2012 scores that do not even have an IR score.
