A. may include melting the polar ice caps and a rising sea level B. may include the melting of polar ice caps and the rising sea level C. may include polar ice caps that are melting and sea levels that are rising D. include melting the polar ice caps and sea levels that are rising E. include melting of the polar ice caps and a rise in sea level
I'd go with E
C, D are just awkward.
A, B have may and it's just too wordy. Word "possible" eliminates word may in this case.
What is the OA?

Use of 'may' become redundant since possible has already been used. So, A,B and C are out.
between d & e, e is better.

Excellent explanations. Thanks mates.
I just want to point out in this example that POSSIBLE and MAY shouldn't go together. Just something to remember.

The answer is E.
As the second may is redundant because of the "possible".
