thank you! It is set for this week over skype. Has anyone else heard anything yet?

I went for a class visit today and spoke to Hilary; she said anyday this week I should be hearing frm them abt the interview setup.

I applied on Sept 23.

Best of luck!

Thanks bud. Everyday counts.

I have the Queen's acceptance but hesitant to accept since I haven't interviewed at Ivey (and Ivey is my first pick)

I met someone at the class visit who interviewed this morning and she said she was stumped when they asked 'What is the red flag in your profile?' I bet they are looking to test our self awareness.

How was the Class Visit, ilovecheese? Did you get a chance to meet any current students and ask them questions about the program? How did you like the Ivey building/campus?

It was great. The building is great. They spent 110 MM on it and you can tell they are proud of it!! All in all a very modern building with tons of space.

I sat through a class and talked to a whole bunch of students out the class as well. I really liked the energy of the teachers and students. I did ask the students questions but then again everyone of them is spending 100K on this degree - no one dissed anything abt the school. They just kept saying come to Ivey you wont regret it.

I still havent heard on the itnerview date though waiting...... Did you already have it DOmrep?

Lemme know!!!

Hey - yup, just had my interview. The lady was very nice and I think the process went smoothly. It's typical interview questions such as why MBA, why now, why Ivey, walk me through your career progression etc. Nothing out of left field and nothing really caught me off guard. Just be yourself and ofcourse prepare good answers for standard questions and you should be fine. Good luck!

Yup just one person. Sorry but I don't think she would want me disclosing her name, but she was a member of the Adcom committee. Ivey is my first choice...in Canada ;).. Applying for R2 for a few states and international schools as well.

frankly speaking, if Ivey may give the international students a several-months internship after gradating, just as Queen is doing from 2014, Ivey would be more appealing to international students. A 3-years working permit is helpful. BTW, Ivey is really a big name in China. if someone plans to go China, Ivey no doubt will give an advantage.

totally agree... the one thing that I feel is missing at Ivey is internship. Not just for work permit, but also as an experience pre-employment.

exactly! i just heard Ivey gives its Msc students a work internship for 4 months in India. Maybe this is a good sign. it is better for international students if Ivey extends it Mba program to 16months, and the last 4 months could be a local industry internship.

Invited for interview :)

It hasn't been scheduled yet. It'll be there during the next week most probably.

Ivey is my first (and only) choice. Got a call this afternoon - exactly 21 days after my interview.
