Just got in! NYC

I'm super excited, I really didnt expect to get in after being rejected Early Decision for Columbia (which I honestly thought was a stronger application). So excited, get a longer summer vacation too since I don't have to start school end of July at Duke. My girlfriend is going to be sad she doesn't get to go somewhere warm with me though haha. Just put in my official notice at work.

For future applicants, the dean who called me referenced my video essay, and we had a nice 5 minute chat about it, so they definitely factor that in.

No word so far :(. It is already 8:40 pm in India. How long can we wait for the calls in India? Is there a possibility a person does not get the call but gets an admit/wl ?

Hang in there guys. I saw Indians getting calls till as late as 10:30 pm IST, as per R1. Praying for all..good luck!

Seems like I'm following a similar path, instead from outside US ;) Got accepted in R1, dinged at CBS aaaand my girlfriend is not happy at all that she might experience polar vortex #2 ;)

Yeah also at work and it was a bit of a rushed call as I'm not supposed to answer my mobile but couldnt help it!

No mention of scholarship - i think in round 1 they told people on the phone if they received one, though i'm still holding out some hope. Anything for you?
