Previous Military Applicants Discussions Hi all, I'm one of about 15 first year Vets at Tuck. We're putting together a Military Visit Day next month where we'll focus on what you need to know as you begin the MBA application process. You'll hear from the group of us, the admissions department, visit a first year class, and talk to the career development office (just to name a few of the activities we have set up).
Here is the formal invitation. Looking forward to meeting you in Hanover!
----------------------------------------------------
Mark the date! Tuck’s inaugural Military Visit Day will be held Monday, May 12, 2014.
Our theme, Setting You Up for Success, sets the tone for the day. In addition to discussing what distinguishes Tuck among top-tier business schools, we’ll focus on what you need to know to transition from the military into the right MBA program.
Beginning with a 7:30 a.m. welcome breakfast, the day will feature a class visit, sessions on MBA admissions, careers and financial aid, as well as a panel discussion with members of Tuck’s Armed Forces Alumni Association (AFAA). Scheduled activities will conclude by 2:30 p.m. so travelers can catch the 3:00 p.m. Dartmouth Coach to Boston/ Logan Airport. If you’re able to arrive Sunday afternoon, please join us for a happy hour with AFAA members and other Tuck students.
For those traveling alone there may be an option for housing with a current student. For participants traveling with partners, we’ll provide travel information including local hotels offering military discounts. Further details will be provided once you are registered and receive your confirmation email.
Space is limited, so sign up soon. We’ll send an email confirming your registration as soon as possible.
Contact Gelsey Tolosa (

We look forward to seeing you in Hanover!
