Your GMAT is fine--as you mention, your applicant pool requires it, but not necessary to try and get any higher. You sound like you have a clear idea of what you want to do, so you must make sure to connect your various experiences to your short and long term vision and make sure your career thus far has a theme and a purpose to that end. As for which schools you should be applying to, it's tough to say, since your preparation and your post MBA plan both are fairly typical feeder MBA profiles. In other words, you could likely achieve your goals at any top school. I would do some online research and speak with alumni to try to determine where you would fit best. Make sure to look at curriculum and culture within each school and if you are able to visit, I would highly reccommend it since there is no better way to size up a fit than an in-person visit. You probably know that VC firms do not really recruit freshly minted MBAs, so your short term goal would likely go over better with the adcoms if you go with the strategy consulting plan. You will also be more attractive to the better schools if you can quantify your impact at work. Sounds like you have had a lot of really good exposure to many different industries and businesses, so demonstrating impact can really go a long way to making your profile look desirable. Quantifying the impact is critical. Putting the numbers behind the claims orients the adcoms to your situation and allows them to get some perspective on the impact. Hope this helps.
