Can someone please compare and contrast their scores using
magoosh's prep tests vs the actual test experience or how
Magoosh compares with
MGMAT or Kaplan?
Dear
15prospetive,
I'm happy to respond.
I work for
Magoosh.
I cannot tell you what the other companies offer, but if you have already taken an official GMAT,
Magoosh guarantees a 50-point improvement:

https://gmat.magoosh.com/testimonialsHere's an article written by Kevin at
Magoosh about student happiness:
https://magoosh.com/blog/magoosh-student ... -may-2014/I can tell you that the
MGMAT books are probably the very best resources in print. We often recommend the
MGMAT books to our students, because they are so good.
I'm going to go out on a limb and guess that students have improved their GMAT scores using all three of these services; I know that's true for
Magoosh, and I assume it's true for others as well. Is
Magoosh "as good as" or "not as good as" or "better than" the others? Well, I certainly have my opinions on that question --- personally, I think
Magoosh is every bit as good as the others --- but you arguably could call those opinions biased. Two objective things I will point out: (1) Kaplan &
MGMAT are organized primarily around taking a physical class at a physical location; the have some online resources, but I think you only get the "full" experience if you take a physical class;
Magoosh, by contrast, is entirely online, so you get the full experience anywhere you can get an internet connection, on your own schedule, whenever and wherever is convenient. (2) I think in price, we have either one of those two way beat.
I know that we write all our own questions, and we rigorously test the quality of our questions, so we are constantly revising. Here's a sample DS question:

Please let me know if you have any other questions.
