I applied a few places last year got in, but decided CBS was the only place for me.

In for ED.

Got the call this morning from Matthew! Accepted for Full Time MBA Class of 2017!!!!!

Best. Day. of. My. Life.

Timeline for those interested:

Submit - 6/17
Invited to interview - 7/1
Interview - 7/18
Accepted - 8/7

Waiting was the most grueling experience ever but it's all so sweet now.

Congrats! could you share your interview experiences? any surprises? I know from last year's interview blog that CBS doesn't ask ethical dilemma anymore. is it also true this year?

Yep, no ethical question for me. I'm from NC so I interviewed with an older alum (class of 1980). After the general questions (why MBA etc) it just turned into a conversation about her fascinating life. One of the best interview experiences I've had. Let your passion show and know EXACTLY why CBS and how CBS will help you get to where you want to go.

No new questions from what you see on Clear Admit but the biggest piece of advice I would give is to choose your interviewer carefully. I would stay away from choosing someone in your field because I believe interviewing with someone who is doing something completely different can carry the conversation as you are learning from each other. I believe my interview was what propelled me towards acceptance as I was a borderline candidate.

Good morning everyone, I have only recently started following this messgae board but I have already gotten some useful information out of it so thank you to everyone! I submitted early decision to CBS and I received my invitation to interview exactly two weeks later (almost to the hour).

App Submission: 30 July
Invited Interview: 13 August

I received the list of names to choose from only a couple hours after I confirmed that I would still like to interview. I have heard that you want to pick someone outside of your current field etc but since all CBS provides is a name and email address it forces you to do a quick google search to find out a little about each person.

Well it didn't take very long for my selected Ambassador to get back to me, I have the interview scheduled for next week. Quick question, assuming I get the walk me through your resume prompt, do I start at the top and work down or in reverse job order starting with the oldest? Does it matter at all? Now I just need to review the sample questions and develop my talking points a little bit and practice.

Good luck to everyone else who is going through the process! Its stressful and the waiting stinks but it will be worth it in the end.

I would go from the oldest (beggining with your undergraduate degree) and finalize with the newest (despite the fact that probably in your resume they are in reverse order).
I believe that is the classic approach...

I see two admits now. mikelu posted waiting time after submission/interview. could the other lucky candidate share that too?

Finally submitted! Now the waiting game begins...
