But we are not given if they are integers....so if we use fraction values of x, y and z, then isn't the answer E. I did a similar question and it gave the answer E since we were able to use fractions or decimal values as it is not given that x, y and z are integers. pls explain which approach to take.

If you carefully review the provided solution again, you'll observe that it doesn't specifically address the integer or non-integer nature of the variables. The solution employs a general approach, focusing on the signs of the variables, which is correct for all real numbers, whether they are integers or not. The problem revolves around signs, not magnitude. The solution's approach is valid, and the answer remains C.
