Just got called! IN!! :D :D

I'm from New Delhi, India.

As expected, Duke's calling people starting East and moving westwards. Around 5 people have made it from the New Delhi area and 15 from India. In total a little less than 100 people have been admitted.

Just got the call about 50 mins ago from Russell! Super excited. Was omw back to hotel from a buiness dinner meeting. I am based in East Asia. Looking forward to meeting you in Durham next summer!

There are 15 people from India who got admitted , so I believe there are still a call of calls that are due , hold your nerves till then

is there any update on application portal for those who received a call?

I received a call but there has been no update in my portal yet.



From what i remember reading on last year's forum, they don't update the portal until around noon or 1 EST I think.

The call I got was from that number only. So it could very well be a call from the Admissions Office.
And as someone already mentioned, there is no update on the SISS. Last year this was done by around noon EST.

I was told the portal would be updated late today (EST), while the email would be received by Friday. So I guess there will be a delay if you r waiting for the email comfirmation. Congrats to all the admits and don't lose hope if you haven't received a call yet. According to last year's report, there were afternoon calls as well.
