So hardly any drop outs though number is down from 540 to 534.There can be some hope small hope if this number goes down to say less than 520 which looks unlikely as by now most of the guys would have updated status.

Does anybody got a chance to check with their AO about the class size Insead has in mind for Jan 2015 class?

Guys, I would like to share with you one fact I personally know about INSEAD: my friend was taken off the waitlist and offered a place just six weeks before the program official start, so do not lose hope.

So does this mean that the waitlist is actually moving?
The thing is, we do not know how many people are in the waitlist: Insead keeps saying its a short waitlist, but what does that even mean?
In any case, my personal opinion is that, while the waitlist may still move, its best not to get hopes too high up.
Still would like to wish all waitlisters (like me) best of luck!

I saw it on a chat with Insead admissions directors

https://www.accepted.com/chat/transcript ... nsead.aspx .

I also heard something similar from people who graduated from Insead recently.

However no one, understandably, ever talks about exact numbers.

I also expect people to have bigger waitlists for September intakes than January ones, due to competition with the US schools.

Still, that is just conjecture on my end.
