Is there anyone who is considering waiting for results from any other B-School before accepting SBS's offer?

ha ha! Exactly what I was thinking. Been drawing Pros and Cons list for both and still prejudiced towards Oxford. Only wishing for a decent scholarship, to make the decision fast. I read somewhere that they have already made the decisions on scholarships for Stage 2.

Don't know yet - this is really tough. Green Templeton might be good given they are graduate focused. How are people deciding?

Im actually leaning the other way, meaning - you will be able to bond with your fellow Said students at Said, whereas at college you can expand your network to other grad students (other courses at Oxford) + undergrads - which is why I will be looking for mixed colleges rather than grad-student only ones. Also, choosing a wealthier college somewhat correlates with a bunch of free items (gym, free library, better facilities etc) and lower prices on food (wealthier colleges don't need to mark up f&b prices to make their ends meet).

As I understood, those who did not receive a scholarship in this round may receive one in later rounds - does anyone has any info on this?

Yes, that's true. But you have only one more round to be considered for scholarships, if you aren't awarded any by round 3 then you wouldn't be awarded any at all.

Off course, there are other scholarships which are handed out in JULY, but those usually have a separate essay and application for them.

Hi,

I am applying for the round 3. Can anyone give me some advice with regards to the referees? Did guys who got accepted submit 1 professional and 1 academic reference or 2 professional references as it says on the SAID B-school FAQs that they are happy to accept 2 professional references if you are unable to provide an academic one?
Any advice is much appreciated!
Thanks so much.
