I think it can happen anytime in the next two rounds. If lucky, we will hear by R2 results. If not this could be a long wait.
However, I have heard from some others that if you have other offers and are really keen on the school (that is you will definitely accept if offered a place), just request them to provide an update before the deposit deadlines for the others. Again, not sure on this on, it is word of mouth.

I put Haas 1 and Yale 2. I have not heard anything from Haas after my interview. It will be an interesting few days. I am hoping the waitlist decision at Yale is because they think I will get into Haas!

I only got initial note saying that i was on the waitlist and did i want to remain on it. I submitted that I did want to stay on the waitlist and that was it...

I just received another email through which I was asked whether I want to remain on the waitlist or not, Thought maybe some other people received it too ?

Hmm, did you send the email to them requesting to be put on the waitlist right away when they first notified you?

Yes I wan on waitlist and constantly in touch with them throughout the process. However Today the same Adcom member asked me to confirm whether I want to remain on the waitlist or not. I wonder why so asked everyone maybe I am overthinking and everyone else on waitlist also received the same email...

What is your thought process behind remaining in contact? I sent an email to the woman who interviewed me, to which she did not respond. I am planning on sending a letter explaining why I want to go to Yale...

Are you calling the admissions office to ask how many people are on the waitlist, what spot on the list you are, etc...?

Any insight is appreciated. Have they told you anything helpful?

I also received an e-mail today asking to confirm my intention to stay on the waitlist. I have already had a few e-mail interactions with admissions since hearing about my waitlist status at the round 1 notification date, and had mentioned that I wanted to stay on the waitlist since Yale is my top choice program. Not sure when any updates will come through, but hoping for some kind of an update at the round 2 notification date at the end of the month.

No such thing as you said ... I sent an update after 3 weeks of my decision ( I was Round1 waitlisted). On the contrary Adcoms don't appreciate of you ask annoying questions about waitlist. Best thing would be that periodically send updates about your interest in the program and any recent trainings or achievements that you haven't shared with Adcom. Thats it !

Lol that is more of what I thought, kesanova20, who do you suggest I email? I sent one right away to the woman who interviewed me. She did not respond with any feedback regarding how to progress off of the wait list. Any suggestions are appreciated.
