Calling all Tepper-CMU Applicants(2015 Intake) Class of 2017

I had received a mail couple of weeks ago. But she never responded after that. In fact I had totally forgotten too :O

I had my interview last month with Kelly R. Wilson. When she asked for questions I asked what attributes in an interview tend to correlate with success at Tepper. She basically said the purpose of the interview is to get an idea of how well the applicant can articulate why they want to go to grad school and Tepper specifically and what they want to do in their future. All things I already knew, but it seemed like a pertinent question for an interviewer and showed that I was self-aware. She went on to say that I had done a good job of doing that! I in no way think this means I'll get in - the interview's just one variable - but it was neat to get the real time feedback and has made me even more excited to find out on Monday.

Has anyone had a similar experience? Good luck to all!

Well - I am still excited to see how I did across the board. I applied to so many schools and it was a lot of work. So I want to see the results. Plus I received a scholarship at Emory so if I receive one at Tepper that might change things for me.

Is there an issue with the Tepper website? I have been trying since yesterday and its getting timed out. Anyone else facing this issue?

Seemed to be an issue with the website when I tried too. I kept at it and it eventually worked. Just keep refreshing and you'll get there.

OMG! 1.75 more days!

Wow the infamous Kelly R. Wilson! What did she look like? I've been getting emails from her like weekly!!

haha! She is great. Pretty tall. Short hair. Great smile. Very nice woman.

I met her as well at the MBA Tour - she came down to Bangalore, India. Spent a great deal of time very patiently answering the hundreds of questions thrown at her by prospective applicants. She was really nice (and SO patient)!

What time exactly will final results be available? I've heard something about 5pm ET. Is that true?

CMU didn't specify exactly when they will be releasing the decisions but based on last year we should probably hear by around 5 PM.

For us Indians it will be probably wee hours tomorrow morning. All the best every one!

Just curious, how many of you have received admits from other B-Schools and are waiting for CMU to turn things over?
And how many of you are going to choose another B-School over Tepper?

I have been admitted to three other programs so far. Tepper is my first choice though. Also, in addition to Tepper, the remaining schools I applied to will be publishing this week.
