UCLA-Anderson Class of 2017 - Admitted Students

Is there anyone of R1 still waiting for response?

Interviewed in early Dec. but no response till now TAT

This rest of the admits for round 1 will go out on the decision deadline or the day before.

This maybe late, but I did receive an admit package from Anderson. It included the same letter as I got via email.

I noticed that you have other admits too. What will be your decisions points for your final call?

Do you happen to remember what the schedule was for Anderson Days last year? The site currently says it will happen on April 24th - April 27th, Friday-Monday.
My question is specifically for the Friday and Monday days of the event. What kind of activities are happening on those days?

I am trying to figure out if I should plan on attending those days or fly in/out on those days instead.

Is there anything else we need to know for the A-Days? Do we need to bring specific clothes (casual vs business casual vs vacation clothes ), suntan lotions etc?

Yep - its sort of the peak of internship recruiting season for most of the first year students, so please bear with the slower response rate.

From my experience last year, there was no need to bring anything special. About one-third of the participants went to Santa Monica beach (optional) on Sunday evening, so flip-flops/suntan lotion/sunglasses may be useful there. I guess just prepare any questions you would have for us. We have evaluated your profile, so A-day's is your chance to evaluate if Anderson is a great fit with your personality & goals and to start networking with your future classmates.

Also, do take advantage and look for first year students (who would be second years when you enroll) who come from your country or is going to a field you are interested in pursuing. They would be great resources to seek advice from for your preparations this summer (especially for banking and consulting).

Just got the admit call! Any idea how long it takes for the emails to reach and application portal to update?

I am not 100 percent sure, but I believe that the email is sent out 24 hours or so after the call. The portal should update soon after. Hope that helps. Congrats!

I have no helpful information for you but I can I just say how truly impressed I am that you took the GMAT 4 times? Because that takes some grit right there.

Well, I had decided that I wont give up. Took me 2 years to start with my GMAT study and end up with an admit.
