I actually felt the phone buzz while I was driving. Took it out to see a notification from Yale SOM. Stopped my car to check if there was some 'good' news, only to be invited to the online reception. :P

Did Yale send out the second and the third wave? My application just completed on 20th due to GMAT score. Anyone in the same boat?

Same, completed on the 20th due to official GMAT report delay. Haven't heard anything.

Yes, I am. I completed on the 21st, and I haven't heard from SOM yet. Good to know I'm not alone; safety in numbers, I guess. Good luck!

From Nigeria as well. I work in the PE industry. Applied to Darden, SOM, Stern and CBS (applied after scholarship deadline) - all round 2 (Stern round 3). Shooting for round 3 London business school, Round 4 Oxford and Round 1 INSEAD (jan 16 intake)

Yale (R2 Nothing from them),

Johns Hopkins (R2 Submitted Yesterday, planning to visit this month)
Cambridge (started application)
Planning on starting the european stuff after i interview darden

anyone know how interview are being conducted at Yale? on campus, off-campus? Skype, local alumni?

Same here! Although all parts of my application have a green check mark against them, the status still reads 'Submitted' with the "most Recent activity' being the payment of application fee.

I did a campus visit and they said due to the weather they are having some delays. However, the admission committee should meet tomorrow and invitations should go out before Friday!!
