Hi members,

I am from India.

I am just goona finish my B tech in computer science in 4 months but as of now i am pursuing my internship . i am not interested in the work so i thought of doing MBA after two years and but now i unable to wait for 2years . planning to prepare for GMAT. Is work experience really mandatory or else it depends on colleges that we apply ?.


My target is National University of Singapore . so what is score i have to reach to get into that University ?

Hi:
You need to give your post MBA goals a serious thought. A concrete goal will not only get you an admit in a reputed college but also make the MBA worthwhile.

In my opinion - MBA without work experience is a disaster on an epic scale. It serves no one.

Hi Amrith ,

Thanks a lot :D for replying for my post .

I have an other question regarding GMAT prep. So, now presently i am doing an internship in a software company . i have added work experience of 2 months . i wanted to start my GMAT prep i am decently good in quants because last year i wrote my CAT entrance which is tough exam for MBA in India and i have scored 97 percentile in that . i am lvery poor in verbal . communication wise i am good enough but descriptive wise i am very poor .
how can i start my preparation . i have ample time . i wanted to give best prep and best for my exam i am planning to write GMAT in December as a trail but i will be going for MBA after 2 years as i need to get job experience

Hi Yash:

Since you're planning to write your GMAT only in December, you don't need to start your preparation so early. You can start by September. But, in the mean time, what you can do is improve your English by reading books suggested in this thread.
