Its going to be a little tough, but if you do get an interview invite you will have to travel to New York.

I was a R3 applicant last year. Was waitlisted without interview and was dinged later. But I know people from India who have made through after applying in R3. So gud luck.

Still no word from NYU. Yesterday made 3 weeks since my interview. I'm not to optimistic about it right now.

Although I was initially leaning towards Johnson when I applied, I put NYU 1st for the Consortium because Stern doesn't have as many scholarship options as Cornell. The fact that I received the fellowship from Johnson already tells me that Stern declined to offer it to me.

I'm either not in or they aren't giving me scholarship. Or maybe they'll give me a different one? I can only hope but I'd just like to know at this point. I've actually started to like their program a lot more since the interview so the financial aspect would be the deciding factor.

I interviewed in India on 5th March. I too did not hear anything yet but the interviewer told me I will hear back in 2-4 weeks. So I am hoping it will be good news but very terrified as of now.

Good luck. I'm in a similar boat to you re: waiting for a response. It has been over 3 weeks since my interview (although only 2 weeks since my transcript arrived at their office, so...)

In any case I'm less bothered now because I got an offer from Fuqua a couple of days ago and I'm 95% sure I will take it over a Stern offer!

Hi Guys,

Any international applications with a R4 app to NYU? Or does anyone know if I have a possible chance? I realize I am a bit too late for this admission season but still was keen to apply to Stern given its strong curriculum...

Submitted my application on 1/15, till today I have not heard back anything from Stern!!

Hi guys!
I'm new here. Started googling because of not hearing anything from the AdCom, finally ended up here at this forum.

I'm an international applicant, applied in R3 on the 14th of January. Didn't receive an interview invite yet.
Starting to freak out a little bit since the initial notification date is approaching. Are there any people in the same situation still? Somehow I have the feeling that my chances for an interview are gone. Do people here have heard from people who still received an interview invite right before or on the initial notification date in R3 last year?

Hope to share some experiences with you all!

I received my interview invite 10 days before the initial notification date (R2). So don't give up hope!

There's about 16 days to go before the Stern deadline.

Is there an actual reason why some candidates get interviewed super late? Is it true that those candidates are "less desirable" by Stern? - Read that somewhere here.
